Christine Lison

Christine is an environmental scientist with experience in planning and co-ordination of approvals in both the mining and infrastructure sector. Christine obtained a background in plant and soil science through completion of Bachelor of Agribusiness (Curtin University) and Postgrad Diploma in Environmental Assessment and Management (Murdoch University).

Christine’s interest is overcoming some of the challenges associated with ecological restoration in Western Australia. Her Master’s project currently focuses on optimising topsoil cover mixes via addition of waste rock. She is investigating plant growth and establishment on different topsoil cover mixes incorporating 25%, 50%, 75% and 88% waste rock.
